About me
A Mexican Industrial Designer and National Researcher System (SNI) Level 1 member, I currently serve as a Research Professor in the Academy of Innovation and Design, School of Engineering, Panamericana University Guadalajara. My academic foundation is robust, with a Ph.D. in Engineering (thesis on hierarchy-based design for medical devices), a Master's in Industrial Design Research from Istituto Europeo del Design in Milan, and a Master's in Ergonomic Design from the University of Guadalajara.
My 16 years of progressive experience are defined by leading and mentoring creative teams, orchestrating complex design projects, and managing ambitious 24-hour development cycles, particularly with Asian partners. I have a proven track record of driving strategic innovation for a diverse range of prestigious clients, including Ferrero Rocher Mex, Hitachi Europe, Whirlpool Europe, DEGW, Sacea Europe, C&A, Conafor, and Grupo Vidanta, alongside impactful collaborations with academic powerhouses like TEC de Monterrey. My leadership roles as Director of Industrial Design Programs (undergraduate and master's) and Lead Professor in New Product Design and Innovation reflect my capability to shape organizational vision, optimize design processes, and cultivate a culture of continuous innovation. I am poised to leverage this executive-level experience to guide strategic initiatives and drive significant business impact.
